Most "best cleaning products" lists online are thin — a product name, a stock photo, and an affiliate link, with no evidence anyone actually used the thing. We wanted the opposite: what does independent testing and genuine review data actually show is worth buying right now?

The Good Housekeeping Institute runs one of the more rigorous UK household product tests — expert evaluation combined with feedback from hundreds of consumers, scored out of 100. In their most recent cleaning round-up, three multi-purpose sprays stood out for grease and limescale removal specifically:
